Key Requirements for AI Use

  • Rule 4-1.1 — competence includes understanding AI tools' capabilities and limitations
  • Rule 4-1.6 — client data confidentiality must be maintained with AI platforms

  • Rule 4-3.3 — candor to tribunal requires verification of AI research
